Choose your account name and password from the drop-down menu. If you can’t verify your account name or password, select Next to enter your settings manually. Fill in the following information. Select Sign In from the drop-down menu.

On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app. In the top right, tap your profile image. Select Manage Accounts from the drop-down menu. Tap this device’s Delete Account option at the bottom of the screen.

To delete an email, Control-click the Trash mailbox in the Mail sidebar. Then pick Erase Deleted Items from the drop-down menu that appears.
