Open the Gmail app on your Android phone or tablet. nap your profile photo in the top right corner. Select Manage accounts on this device from the drop-down menu. Select your account using the options at the bottom of the screen. Tap Remove Account at the bottom of the page to finish deactivating it.

Open the Gmail website in the browser where you’ve logged in to log out. Next, click the Google Profile icon in the top-right corner of the window and choose to Sign Out” from the drop-down menu. If you’re signed into multiple accounts, this button will say ” sign out of all accounts” instead.

Click the Accounts button, then click Add Account. Click on Mail to display your inbox. Click on Add Account in the menu bar at the top of your screen. In a few moments, you should be able to access your new email account from any device that has Internet connectivity. Select Other Mail Account from the drop-down menu at the bottom.

Open the Mail app and tap the Settings icon. To view the accounts added to the Mail app, go to Manage Accounts. Select your desired account from the drop-down menu. On-screen dialogs for Account settings will appear after you finish signing out of an account.

To quit the program, open the force-quit menu by pressing Option-Command-Esc. To exit the program, select Mail. Then relaunch the app and check to see whether any problems have been resolved.
