Click the gear icon in the bottom-left corner of your screen, next to your username. Select the Settings option from the drop-down menu. Click “Delete Account.

When you go to Settings>My Account>Delete Account, you have to wait 14 days. After you click the “delete account” button, an email will be sent to you informing you of this.

We do remove accounts for anyone who sends us an email to [email protected] 30 days after the account becomes inactive. I’m still receiving emails from the forum about this 30-day period.

What happens if you delete your Discord account? When you delete your account, Discord anonymizes all of your communications by renaming them with “Deleted User.” The messages you’ve sent are preserved, keeping the group discussions and direct private messages flowing.

After the account is deleted, it will be in a “deleted” status for 14 days. Attempting to log into your account during the 14-day period will result in a dialog box indicating if you wish to restore it.

A deleted user is usually identified by Deleted User(random number-letter combo)#0000(Random discriminator). This might be due to a self-delete, in which a person goes ahead and deletes their account, or an account is disabled/deleted for breaking the Terms of Service.
