It is actually rather easy to erase your account, but Pokémon Go does not enable you to do it from within the app. Instead, you must go to Niantic’s website and fill out a form to eliminate your account. Your Pokémon Go account and all related game data will be permanently deleted after your request is granted.
Go to Niantic’s website. Fill in the email field with “Delete account,” the subject line as “Delete account,” and your Pokémon name. To cancel your membership, tick the four options boxes. Remove the Pokémon Go application from your phone.
Nothing will happen. Your account is stored in the Pokemon go server, so if you uninstall it, nothing essential about your account will be lost. If you uninstall, your account will not be affected in any way.
Go to your profile and click the icon in the upper right corner. Click “My Account” on the top left. Select “Connected applications & sites” from the drop-down menu under “Sign-in & Security.” Under “Apps linked to your account,” click “Manage Apps.” Pokemon Go should be removed from your list.
Open the Settings app on your device. Select your account from the menu. Select your Google account if you have multiple accounts. Tap Remove Account to finish deleting it.
